About the German Shipsuppliers Register

The German Shipsuppliers Association, Hamburg, has been publishing a comprehensive directory of members in the middle of each year for over 30 years. It contains information about its members in Germany.

In addition to information on the company name, address, telephone, telex, fax, e-mail, Internet and service profile, further details such as names of owners, managing directors, authorized signatories, department heads, port representatives, agencies and distribution centres for individual items, branches and ports to which deliveries are made are listed. The German Ship Chandler Register is a DIN A5 brochure and is printed in English in a print run of over 4000 copies and sent to shipping companies, ship chandlers, shipbrokers, shipyards and industry-related companies all over the world.

The association endeavours to include good and reliable chandlers among its members. The register makes it easier for shipowners to select "their" ship chandler from the large number of companies. In addition, the directory also offers suppliers and other interested parties from the maritime industry a summarised overview of the marine equipment sector in Germany.
